We are now looking for a staff member for the Nature Environment Unit, focusing on the Land Environment Area.

The Nature Environment Unit works with biodiversity, nature conservation, seas, water, and outdoor life. The unit's responsibilities are broad and include a large number of Sweden's environmental goals. We are now looking for a person who can strengthen and contribute to the development of the Nature Environment Unit's work.

As a case officer in the Nature Environment Unit, you will have a mix of tasks and participate in several different processes to develop and implement the government's policies focusing on nature conservation and biodiversity. Your work will include driving the unit's issues, preparing government matters, and producing materials for the political leadership. The work involves many internal and external contacts. Therefore, you need to be communicative and have good collaboration skills. The work is done in cooperation within the unit and with other units and departments. Travel may be required.

Your background

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic education and a few years of current experience in case management tasks. Furthermore, you should express yourself well in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.

If you have a few years of current experience in nature conservation and biodiversity or other environmental and climate issues that the employer deems relevant, experience working or interning in the Government Offices or another government agency, and knowledge of Swedish public administration, we consider this an asset. Knowledge of working in a politically governed organization is also meritorious.

The employment is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement. A security clearance will be conducted before a decision on employment is made.
